In my honest opinion, I don't think video games cause violence. Violent video games are a great stress relief, considering the fact that I can't just simply walk up to the people who make my life suck and shoot them in the face without retribution by the state. It's like instead of useing an actual punching bag, gamers take out there pent up frustration on the virtual world... or at least I do.
